These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the Bitsacco web app and services. By accessing or using our platform, you agree to these Terms.

1. Who We Are

Bitsacco is a Savings and Credit Cooperative Organization that provides savings and other financial tools to individuals and groups.

2. Use of Our Services

You agree to use Bitsacco’s services:

  • Only for lawful purposes
  • Without infringing on the rights of others
  • In compliance with all applicable laws and regulations

Bitsacco retains the right to suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms.

3. Account and API Usage

Some services require you to register or obtain API credentials. You are responsible for:

  • Keeping your credentials secure
  • Not misusing our APIs (e.g. abusing rate limits, reverse-engineering, or reselling access)
  • Complying with our API documentation and usage guidelines

Bitsacco may revoke or limit access at its sole discretion.

All content on the site—logos, text, code, graphics, and documentation—is owned by Bitsacco or its licensors. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute without permission.

5. Beta Services

Certain services may be released as beta. These are provided “as is” and may change without notice. We are not liable for any issues arising from the use of beta features.

6. Disclaimers

  • Bitsacco provides services “as is” and without warranties of any kind.
  • We do not guarantee uptime, uninterrupted service, or bug-free software.
  • You use Bitsacco’s services at your own risk.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Bitsacco shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of our services.

8. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Bitsacco harmless from any claims arising from your misuse of our services, violation of these Terms, or infringement of any third-party rights.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Kenya. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction.
