Your username is how other community members will recognize and remember you, so it's worth taking a moment to personalize it. Whether you want to use your real name, a nickname, or something creative, here's how to set it up.

Step-by-step instructions
Access Your Profile Settings
- Open your Fedi app
- Look at the top right corner
- Tap your profile icon (the small circle with your current avatar)
- This opens your Settings page
Navigate to Edit Profile
Select Edit profile
Change Your Display Name and Save your Changes
You'll see a field for your display name/username
- Tap on it and type your new name
- Remember: Your username must be fewer than 21 characters
- Choose a username that represents you well in the community
Once you're happy with your new username, tap Save to finalize the changes.
That's it! Your new username will now appear throughout Bitsacco and in all your chats.
